Ministry of Mines invites applications for the post of Assistant Stores Officer. The post is permanent, classified as General Central Services, Group ‘B’ Non-Ministerial, Gazetted. Assistant Stores Officer is overall responsible for proper receipts, issue storage, maintenance, and accounting of Stores.
The Probation period is for a duration of 2 years. The Headquarter is in Nagpur (Maharashtra) with the liability to serve anywhere in India. The maximum age for candidates should not be more than 30 years as on the normal closing date. There is only 1 vacancy available.
Pay Scale
Level-7 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400/-) as per pay matrix.
Total Emoluments – Rs. 44900/- plus DA as applicable per month
Educational Qualifications:
Master’s Degree with Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Business Studies or Public Administration from a recognized University or Institute
Or
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Business Studies or Public Administration as a subject from a recognized University or Institute.
Diploma in Materials Management or Warehousing Management or Purchasing or Logistics or Public Procurement from a recognized University or Institute.
Experience
In case of Master’s Degree:
One year’s experience of indenting, purchase of technical stores and stores account or in the field of material management in the Central Government or State Government or statutory or autonomous organization or public sector undertaking or University or any recognized Institution or Bank or in a private sector organization listed on the Stock Exchange of India
Or
In case of Bachelor’s Degree:
Two years’ experience of indenting, purchase of technical stores and stores account or in the field of material management in the Central Government or State Government or Statutory or Autonomous organization or public sector undertaking or University or any recognized Institution or Bank or in a private sector organization listed on the
