Income-Tax Department Job Vacancy for Inspector of Income/ Tax Assistant

The Additional Commissioner of Income-Tax (Hqrs and TPS) for the Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, North East Region (NER), Assam, has invited the Applications from the Candidates (Men/Women) under Meritorious Sports’ Quota in 50 Sports/Games in the Prescribed Proforma. The Eligible Candidates in any of the 50 Sports Categories fulfilling the Eligibility conditions may apply in the Prescribed Application Format. The Last Date for submission of the duly completed Application accompanied by the Certificates and Documents is slated to end on 31st August 2022 (17:00 Hours and not later than the time).

The Envelope containing the Candidate’s Applicants and all other documents superscribed as “Application for the Post(s) Inspector of Income Tax/Tax Assistant under Meritorious Sports Persons’ Quota” for Recruitment of the Meritorious Sports Persons in the Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, North East Region (NER), Assam on or before Last Date for Application ending 31.08.2022.

Note: The Eligible Candidates should Apply through a Proper Channel.

Eligibility Criteria (As On 31.08.2022):

01) Inspector of Income-Tax (01 Vacancy)

(Pay Level 7 of the Pay Matrix (as per 7th CPC) corresponding to pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.4600 in PB-2 of Rs.9300 to Rs.34800 of 6th CPC)

Age: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from Duly recognized University or Equivalent. Category-wise Relaxation in Upper Age  Limit for the Candidates.

02) Tax Assistant (04 Vacancies)

Pay Level 4 of the Pay Matrix (as per 7th CPC) corresponding to pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.2400 in PB-1 of Rs.5200 to Rs20200 of 6th CPC

Age: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from Duly recognized University or Equivalent. Data Entry Speed of 8000 Key Depressions Per Hour.  Category-wise Relaxation in Upper Age  Limit for the Candidates.

Mandatory Documents for Submission:

Photocopies of all the documents in support of the Claim regarding the Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Sports Eligibility Certificates, Caste Certificate, etc., should invariably accompany the duly completed Application form. Other essential documents duly attested by a Gazetted Officer include Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card)/Voter Identity Card/Passport/Driving License) accompanied by the Application and Most recent Passport-size Color Photograph of the Applicant to be duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, must be affixed/pasted provided for the purpose in the Snap space must also be enclosed along with the Application Form.
